racing against the clock

Moto
Pullups/Turkish Getups 12kg/8kg, each side
(switched out to 8kg for the last 2 sets)
Sandbag carry down and up the hill (approx 65 yards)
(plus about 20 yards of yard and porch to get from my house to the hill and back, no sandbag)
5/5, 1, 4/4, 1, 3/3, 1, 2/2, 1, 1/1, 1
in 23:54
man, the self-imposed pressure to beat last week's time is crazy. the TGUs definitely can't be rushed.

But you DID beat last week's time. See, that's the beauty of being under the power of the clock.

You'll eventually learn the 'controlled drop' portion of the TGU, in which you lie back down with an urgency that makes it slightly dangerous. It isn't officially recommended, but it will probably start happening anyway (and it's a technique I secretly practice as well)

a secret, slightly dangerous, not-recommended move?
sounds like a must-do! :)
