This weekend I've had run-ins with the fire department, FBI and LAPD. Only peripherally, thank goodness. But I'm starting to feel like I'm in an episode of Numbers, or something.

Today:
2 rounds of:
Clean and throw sandbag up the hill
15 sec pushups
Lateral throw sandbag up the hill, alternating sides
15 sec bent rows

as usual, I'm probably late to the party... just realized it would be a good idea to count the pushups and rows. right? next time, we'll have numbers.

catching up on the blog


Not sure why I've been so lazy with logging these suckers. Figured I'd better catch up and start logging in real time tomorrow. That's the intention, anyway.
Meanwhile, the hill has been a trip, and my living room/gym is feeling neglected...

dive bombers

Love these birds, and the half moon behind them in the afternoon sky. I was under attack when I took this - out in the middle of the lake on a paddle boat while my friend's kid was tossing tortilla chips off the back like there was no tomorrow. We were totally dive-bombed, these two being the first of many, many more. For a minute it was Hitchcock-esque and kinda creepy, but ultimately pretty cool. Best of all, we came out unscathed, with nary a drop of bird crap on us.

So. Yah. I've been slacking this last week. Back to it:
