still dreaming

on the beach at Deception Island I had an intense night of dreams last night. So vivid, clear and sensual that waking up in my life felt more other-worldly than dreamland. Hard to shake off the feeling.
I tell you one thing, some pull ups will zap ya back to this reality. And back in place.
I saw a chiropractor yesterday, 'cause I had a tweaky pain in my back. (No. I did not go to a doctor's office. This guy uses the empty office next to mine twice a week to 'adjust' several of the good people who work with me.) I figured, what the hell? Maybe he can help. I trace the origin of my issue to hauling a (somewhat) heavy backpack, mostly on one shoulder, and doing a somewhat unnatural maneuver with it. Apparently one of my ribs was out of place (?). He snapped things back, and I felt some relief. But the pull ups miraculously made me feel completely normal. Relatively speaking, of course.

Pull up (one band): 1,1,1 (ugh!) <-those pretty numbers make it look nicer than it was.
Pull up (two bands): 8/6/6/5 in about 3 minutes.
DB Snatch (25#db): 2x 30sec (15rest) each side
DB Bent Row/high pull/swing/push press (15#db): 6ea x4 in 5:05
(whoa!)
